Nadja Eckerle is a German author and journalist. She woks as a senior sports reporter for German Television ARD and has published a number of travel guides. Her first book about Scotland is due in February 2018 and was written in the Scottish Highlands where she lives with her partner when she is not working for tv somewhere else in the world. Her love for Scotland (culture, tradition, history) is a long and lasting one – basically since she read Scottish History and Literature at the University of Glasgow in 1990/1991. But the spark for the Clan MacDharobhnie and the tartan project really ignited at the first Gaelic class at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on Skye 2016 having met all those great and creative people, with whom she shares her love and passion for this wild and breathtaking place called Scotland.
